Who are you?
Me an my cofounder both have background in software engineering. Both have been in crypto since late 2020 and were also early to join hyperliquid in early 2024. Also I used to work as a quant swe for a hedge fund in Dubai for a while We also have other two team members, but they are more focused on UI/UX improvements and SMM

We're focusing on what we call Real World Numbers - things that people have been trading, but couldn't do so directly - ie Unemployment Rates, US Debt, Rate Cuts etc Also we have some long-tail markets like Weather and H100 (the ai chip price) And we're looking into some commodities such as eggs The first market we would want to launch would be Weather tho - you can read how it work in more detail here https://docs.tings.xyz/markets/arctic-warming-index But TLDR - the market price is current temperature divided by historical average for this date and hour. This gives a ratio that goes above 1 if current temp is higher than historical and <1 if lower. We call it the Global Warming Index. The weather is sourced from Utqiaġvik, Alaska, a station on the Arctic Ocean where warming consistently outpaces the global average

Oracle & Distribution

we built our own oracles

https://docs.tings.xyz/oracle/ But TLDR - for each market we get external sources and ingest them through API. We also have some logic built in to discard outliers and give weights based on time (ie outdated values weight less) For markets that can't have realtime data like US Debt (best we could do is daily) - we also apply moving average market price as one of the values for the oracle so we can get oracle updated throughout the day. This is the same way Hyperliquid Premarket Perps work
Volume Strategy
We're going to have points program (we already do on our testnet as well) - and we believe that will incentivize trading. We're also trying to gain some traction on twitter and attract users all the ways we can
