Team & Background

Who are you?
We are a team of 5 (ex-quants and software engineers) building MOVE contracts in the HyperEVM. This contracts settle to the absolute price movement of an underlying asset in a given time frame. We decided to build in the HyperEVM since we didn't had the resources to achieve a HIP-3. We have an hybrid infrastructure being developed at the moment, and we are closing a raise this month. We discovered Launch by Kinetiq a week ago and are currently in a GC with the Team to explore the possibilities of working together. I also found about you guys yesterday and wanted to reach out

Price Construction
The price is calculated based on the total price movement of the underlying asset. For example, picture a daily BTC-MOVE contract. The BTC daily open was 74k, and it's currently trading at 72k, so the price of the volatility index is 2k. If BTC price was 76k, the volatility index is also 2k. What matters is the magnitude of a movement, not the direction.

We are in talks with several MM, both individuals and institutions, that are interested in trading pure volatility contracts.
